Sivar Irval, BELC member from Estonia’s City Government of Rakvere took the initiative and created a social media video to invite citizens to vote in the 2024 European elections.

The video, in which he holds an EU flag in his hands as he talks, has been promoted through Rakvere’s social media channels in the run-up to the European elections. Mr Irval highlighted the benefits the EU has provided to Estonia and Rakvere more specifically. He pointed out the many investments in the city, located in the northern part of the country, thanks to European funding the past two decades, since joining the Union.

He also underlined why it is important to vote and be a part of the broader democratic process and jointly create the future of Europe.
