Swedish member talked about the BELC network in media

Sweden’s Habo municipality is committed to increasing interest in EU matters within the community, especially in light of the upcoming EU elections. To reach out to citizens, they have utilised the opportunity to gain exposure in local media and have secured a full-page  interview with BELC member, Tomas Brusberg in local media, titled Jönköpings-Posten, published on 24 May, 2024.

Mr. Brusberg, among others, talked about the importance of demonstrating how the EU affects citizens on both as individuals and at the municipal level. As an example of how the municipality aims to boost citizens' interest in the EU, their membership in BELC is highlighted.

The interview serves as a brilliant example of how BELC members can use the network and their engagement to showcase concrete actions to inform about the EU and how decisions in Brussels impact everyday life.
